Yo Yo YO! Long time no see eh? Sorry about the delay on updates but I've been a bit distracted lately! This is a new story I've decided to write! Dr. Spencer Reid and an OC. Gotta love Reid. ANYWAY (I need to STOP stalling) here's the first chapter!
Reid's POV (Point of View, to you noobs out there!):
We hadn't had a case in over a month and it was driving us all closer and closer to insanity. So we were heading to Hawaii for a well needed vacation.
"Reid. Got any interesting facts about Hawaii?" Morgan asks.
"Do you really need to ask that?" Hotchner asks, raising an eyebrow.
"Well…Hawaii has the most isolated population center on the face of the earth. Hawaii is 2,390 miles from California; 3,850 miles from Japan; 4,900 miles from China; and 5,280 miles from the Philippines," I say, and then continue reading.
Morgan laughs, and resumes listening to his music. I could unfortunately hear and it wasn't very appropriate. I think of how to approach the situation, and then think of a fact to save me.
"Uh, Morgan," I say and nudge his arm. He looks up at me. "Did you know that several people get ear damage from loud music, every year?"
"Yeah, so what?" Morgan asks.
"He wants you to turn the music down," Rossi says.
"You could've just said that pretty boy," Morgan says and turns his music down, so I can't hear it anymore.
"Alright…." I say confused that my tactic didn't work out as well as I had planned.
A hour later:
We get off the plane, get our luggage and then go to find Hotch's niece. After we find her we all squish into her car and drive to our hotel. As we check in another girl runs over and Hotch's niece squeals, the two girls hug, and then Mandy, Hotch's nice, starts blabbering about who knows what. The other girl look just as confused as I felt, and I realized she was quite a attractive girl. She had long, dark brown hair, bright greenish-brown eyes, and had a common complexion. She started talking and Mandy stared at her, now confused as to what she was saying.
"Everyone this is my old friend, Kila," Mandy says and Kila waves politely.
"Derek Morgan."
"Aaron Hotchner."
"Penelope Garcia."
"Jennifer "JJ" Jaruea."
"David Rossi."
"Dr. Spencer Reid."
"Its nice to meet you all. So you're all with the FBI?" Kila asks.
"Yes we all are." Hotch says.
"Do your badges look somewhat like this," She asks raising an eyebrow, and she holds up her wallet showing her FBI badge.
Morgan, JJ and Rossi smile. While Garcia says, "She is on my top ten list."
As we walk up to our hotel room, I position myself beside Kila and ask her about her position in the FBI.
"Well Dr. Spencer Reid, I am also a doctor. I grew up in New York City and moved to Virginia when I graduated high school, and college, to join the FBI."
"When did you graduate?"
"Age of 13."
"College?"
"Fifteen"
"How many P.h.D's do you have?"
"Three."
I think about this for a moment and then smile slightly.
