Even though he wasn't afraid of heights, Megamind had a fear of airplanes. He could build and control giant robots the size of skyscrapers but despised planes.
Eventually, Roxanne wanted Megamind to fly out with her to Nebraska to meet her parents, who moved there once Roxanne was an adult, and since he loved her very much, he gave in.
