Okay, so it's been what? 4 years? Yeah, ouch.
I just re-read some of my stuff and let me tell you...I think they're terrible. Not, that I've gotten much better. So, this is just a little "Teaser" for a story that I want to write. And when I say "teaser" I literally mean it's shorter than a paragraph. it's just to see if I want to do this story. Or if anyone of you has any good ideas.
Basically it's going to be about a 19 y/o that gets thrust into Harry Potter world. Right, like that hasn't been done before. But, I'm going to try and base her off myself so I hope she's not such a Mary-Sue. but I will admit that she's going to use her knowledge of the books and movies to her advantage. But then again, what happens if she changes too much?
"Shit!" A girl was thrown from a fireplace in the middle Diagon Alley. The 19 year old groaned out on the stone floor as witches and wizards passed her by without a second glance.
After making sure her head wasn't busted open the girl stood up and shook herself out. Only after checking herself over did she realize that she was certainly in a place that was different from where she had just been 30 second before.
"I'm…not in Kansas anymore, Toto." The young woman muttered. She had no idea what was going on or where she was. Except, just then she caught a glimpse of something that definitely didn't exist. A very tall man walked passed her with his almost identical son; both looking every bit the part of Lucius and Draco Malfoy (or perhaps their respective actors). "Yeah, that's…not normal." She chuffed. But, with nothing else to go on, and, for the moment, having no way to figure anything out, she followed the look-a-like assholes.
The weird (fictional) duo traveled with purpose to a tiny bookshop that looked like it was swarming with people; and it was only when the girl caught sight of a thin leather book under Lucius' arm did she realize when, exactly, she was. The second year of Harry Potter. The Chamber of Secrets.
So, that's it guys. That's supposed to help you decide if you want to read it. Except, you know, the story doesn't exist yet. I'm working on it. But I will say that while this girl isn't wholy evil, that diary of Tom's plays a very large part of the story. And, the girl knows that this isn't her world, so I hope it kind of explains later on why she doesn't seem to really give a shit who she helps out.
