Hey people! How are you doing? I'm fine, and very loaded with homework.
So, this is my first Operation Overdrive fanfic. I thought of this last May, when I traveled to Houston with my friends. Someone put the Last Song when we were in the bus. Then I started to watch some Operation Overdrive clips and this came to my head.
I'm sorry if the characters are a little OOC. I never watched a full episode of Operation Overdrive (school and TV issues) save for Kick into Overdrive and Once a Ranger.
I don't own Power Rangers or the Last Song. If I did, this two would be in a crossover now. =) Happy reading! =)
Rose was very walking happily to the couch. She was happy because she had a new book in her hand. The cover read 'The Last Song'. The other guys were busy doing their own things.
"Hey Rose" Tyzonn said. "What do you have there?"
"My new book" Rose said. She handed it to Tyzonn so he could see. Mack sat next to Tyzonn and started reading as well.
"The Last Song?" Mack asked. "What's it about?"
"It's a summer romance novel-" Rose started to explain. She was interrupted by Mack.
"Ok, with the romance novel thing, I'm done" he said. Rose rolled her eyes. She looked at Tyzonn, but he also seemed like he was done.
"Hey guys" Dax said out of nowhere. "Did you know that they're gonna make a movie about this?"
"Really?" Ronny said, also out of nowhere. She didn't see really interested.
"Yeah" Dax said. "Maybe, if there's an audition I can-"
"I don't think you would want to" Tyzonn said. "For what I've been reading, it's too cheesy. There's no action" Rose didn't seem to notice that Tyzonn still had her book. "And what's more, the couple's names are Will and Ronny"
Time seemed to stop there and then. Everyone was just staring like 'what the heck?'. Ronny was the most shocked of them all.
"Come on guys" Rose said. "It's just a book. It's not like our Will and Ronny will actually fall in love"
"That me and Ronny what?" Will said, entering to the room.
"There's this book –soon-to-be movie- whose main characters' names are Will and Ronny and they fall in love" Dax said happily.
Will just stared at him wide-eyed. "What?" he said.
"You're not the only one shocked Will" Ronny said. She just ignored them and went for a snack.
"Well" Will said. "It's just a book. It's not based on us"
"Yeah" Mack said. "I mean, it's not like there are some spies on the house and started to base this book and the movie in you"
"Yeah" Tyzonn said. "I mean, it's not like the book's Will and Ronny become Power Rangers, with Will being the black one and Ronny being the yellow one"
At this point, Will was looking at them irritated.
"Yeah" Mack said. "And it's not like this Ronny gets kidnapped and Will has to go and save her"
"It's not like this Will is a spy and this Ronny is a car-racer" Rose said. The guys were trying to contain their laughter, while Rose was starting to giggle.
"And it's not like this Will's real name is William Aston while this Ronny's real name is Veronica Robinson" Dax said. A few moments of silence, then everyone except Will started to laugh.
"Yeah" Will said. "And it's not like I didn't prank you earlier, though now it's seems like a good revenge"
The laughter stopped. "You did what?" Mack asked.
"Why don't you go to your room?" Will said. Mack stood up and went to his room, while the others soon followed him.
Will just smiled and left the room.
And that's it! I know it's short. I was going to make it a bit longer, but I have work to do. Also, it's kind of OOC, I think. But I didn't get to see much of it, so…
Maybe, I'll make a sequel of it. But not right now. High school sure is tough. =P Anyway, please review!
Ps. I did like the Last Song, but it's a little cheesy to my liking. That's just my opinion. =)
