Jace POV
Jace ran side by side with Clary and Isabelle as they tried to find Alec. Jace could feel his heart breaking in two as they searched and searched for him.
Jace and Alec had been patrolling for demons when several hundred demons had surprised them Jace had been knocked out immediately and when he had woken up he had found himself and Alec in a large empty looking room. When Jace came to the door had been flung open by Valentine. Jace was in shock when he first entered followed by Sebastian.
Valentine had grinned and then he had grabbed a hold of Alec and started torturing him. Jace had screamed for him to stop as Valentine kept on injecting demon poisin into Alec. Jace realized several hours into it that struggling was futile. Sebastian kept holding him back.
When Valentine moved away from Alec, Sebastian let go of Jace. Jace had lurched toward his parabati. Crying he had cradled Alec's head for a little while until Valentine had dragged Alec away. Now Jace and Clary and Isabelle were looking for him though Jace doubted they would ever find him. For jace knew that Valentine had killed his soul brother.
He felt it in his soul.
Zoe POV
Zoe stood silently as Artemis lead them through the ruins toward the boy that was lying on his side. Artemis leaned over him her auburn hair touching the boys chest. Zoe noted that the boy was to pale to be alive.
Artemis turned to Zoe and spoke, "I choose him to join my others ones. Zoe, Phoebe, Maria, Grace prepare him." Then Artemis turned away from them. Grace hurried forward as Phoebe stepped forward and took a hold of his shoulders. Zoe drew a circle around him as Grace opened the boy's mouth. Maria then stepped forward and began to conduct the words of the immortals.
"Artemis has chosen. This boy in three day's time will join the others. He will live again. Artemis will you know give him your blood."
Artemis leaned over him and ran her knife down her arm. The blood of the immortal's poured down her arm. Zoe watched as the boy whimpered and opened his eyes. "Please" he whispered.
Artemis smiled, "Of course brave one." Then she carefully allowed the blood to drip into the boy's mouth. The boy thrashed around. Zoe winced as he cried out in pain. Then Artemis nodded to Phoebe and Phoebe lifted him up.
Then the Hunters of Artemis turned toward the woods and fled into the woods towards Artemis's temple which was near by.
When they arrived at the temple Zoe nodded to Phoebe and she took the boy to a tent to change his clothes. Zoe turned to Artemis as she beckoned the others to follow. When Phoebe reappeared with the boy all in silver, then Artemis lead the way to her alter and nodded to Pheobe.
Then, Phoebe set the boy down on the alter.
