How amazing as the season finale , I'm gonna miss Strauss, that was such an awful death. Anyways here's a one shot based on it.
Life is short.
Watching as the fire burnt through the house the team looked around. "Lets go"
Walking off to the helicopter, JJ took a deep breath, they had all been moments from death. And one of them was dead. She realised how short life really was, and how making one wrong move can cost you your life. Closing her eyes, JJ stayed silent the whole ride back. Thinking about how lucky they all were.
Getting out of the lift, JJ walked through the glass door, seeing the conference room light on. "Guys?"
"Maybe Garcia"
As the team all walked up the stairs, Morgan and Reid smiled, seeing Garcia, Kevin, Will, Both Jack and Henry both asleep on the sofas.
"What are you doing here?" Blake asked.
"Our family needs us" Garcia smiled.
JJ smiled, giving Garcia a quick hug, before feeling Will wrap his arm around her. Pulling her in close, Will kissed her forehead, feeling JJ burry her head into his chest.
"I love you" he whispered
"I love you too" JJ said wrapping her arm around Will.
"Can we go home?" JJ asked
"I'll grab the boy" Will said giving her a quick kiss.
JJ nodded, leaving to get her stuff, she saw Rossi enter is office, knocking on his door, JJ slowly walked in.
"Just wanted to check you were okay"
Rossi, nodded. "I'm okay"
"I'm sorry Dave"
"I know, I am too"
JJ nodded, giving him a little smile, before closing the door , feeling Will's hand on her back.
"He okay?"
"He will be" JJ sighed, taking hold of Will's hand.

Sitting down on the sofa, Will squeezed JJ's knee, seeing her spaced out, Jumping a little JJ looked round at Will, letting out a sigh.
"Ya okay?"
JJ shook her head, pulling her legs up to her chest, leaning against Will.
"What's going through ya mind?"
Sighing, JJ bit her lip. "Strauss is dead, he broke into Garcia's apartment. He drugged Rossi, I found the bomb, and then when we got trapped…"
"Breathe" Will said kissing her head.
Taking a shaky breath, JJ let the tears fall down her cheeks. "When the door closed, I didn't think….we were gonna make it out of there"
Will wrapped his arm around JJ. "You did"
JJ nodded. "Because Rossi came"
"He saved you all"
"And lost another person he loved"
"He may have, but he's got an amazing family who loves him"
JJ nodded wiping her eyes. "I'm so glad I have you"
"I'm glad I'm here too, its been a tough year for everyone"
JJ nodded, giving Will a quick kiss. "Yeah, it just shows how short life really is"
Will sighed, squeezing JJ's hand. "That's why we can't waist anytime we have together"
JJ smiled, kissing Will deeply on the lips.
