Artemis Fowl: The Hybrid Abduction
A/N: As if there weren't enough OC stories in the world…But, that's my forte, so deal with it. It's kinda off what I usually do, so bear with me.
Prologue
An excerpt from Over and Under: An Account of Fairy Interaction with Humans
We all know that Mud Men live above ground and the People live below it. But who's to say that roles cannot be switched? Can't the species be given a choice as to where they choose to stay?
No, I'm afraid. There is too much bad blood between Mud Men and fairies, and there always will be. But luckily, the Council has recently decided that human interaction can be permitted, but only on certain grounds. We all recall when Artemis Fowl and Co. were transported to Haven City to prevent the goblin uprising. But I'll be damned if old Arty ever found out who else has visited the Lower Elements. Allow me to take you back about 15 years ago…
A personal account from an LEP officer guarding a shuttle being transported to Tara, Ireland stated thatGeneral and Mrs. Marcus D'Yabal had boarded the shuttle for a vacation. We they reached their destination, a fellow vacationer said that they requested immediate access to the area around Stonehenge, on the grounds that it was the place the colonel had proposed, said the witness. On a tour of the landmark, Mrs. D'Yabal said that she tripped on a strange patch on dirt, not level with the rest on the ground, and hollow, as it were. There, she and her husband made a remarkable discovery…
"We began digging," she said to Gnome and Gardens magazine, "curious to find out exactly what this disturbance was. We dug for about five minutes when to our surprise we found a large box. And in the box was something that would change our lives forever…"
