Peeta's Diary Katniss' POV I was planning on suprising Peeta by cleaning up the house. He would be gone for an hour baking. I was cleaning his bottom drawer then spotted a book shoved in the back of the drawer. It had a leather cover and a gold buckle on it. When I opened the fist page it showed writing. Peeta's writing.

It said,
Today I saw the most beatiful girl sing. Dad pointed her out as Katniss saying he liked her mother. -Peeta

I felt bad for snooping but I decided to read more.
I saw the girl again today. She looked hungry so I gave her some bread. I should of handed it to her instead of tossing them. -Peeta

Today is the reaping. -Peeta Uh Oh It was all a lie. A game just like the games. I can't hold her to her actions though. - Peeta Gale kissed her. -Peeta

We're going back in. I got to keep her alive. She has other people she loves so she will be okay after I die. -Peeta

She loves me. -Peeta

The rest of the pages where covered with sketches. A lot of them showed me. He had others with nature, sunsets, and Rue. When looked at the picture of Rue it hurt. I couldn't protect her or Prim. On the very last picture it stunned me. It showed me and Gale kissing. How did he capture it so right?
It looked so real it scared me.

I heard a shuffle and looked up to spot Peeta. I slammed the book shut and stood up like a deer caught in head lights. Peeta chuckles and said " It's alright Katniss."
"Sorry" I mumbled to him. " Don't worry I was eventually going to show you it anyways" he said. "Do you want to see what I brought home?" he asked. I nodded my head then followed him into the kitchen.

CATCHING FIRE MOVIE Who saw Catching Fire? My dad and I went there to see it and it was so good! My dad was really confused though because he didn't know anything about the movie. The monkeys scream suprised me though. Sorry for making it so short.
