I originally typed this up for a RP sample for this FE site I just joined...hnn I'm not much of a writer but I actually like this and besides..I need more stories ^ ^;
"Hmm...a lone flower, didn't think I'd see one here." Naesala crouched down to admire the small pink flower that seemed to have sprouted on this small, rocky island off the coast of Kilvas. He furrowed his brows as he stared at the flower, sorrow clearly evident in his eyes as he is finally allowed to show atleast Mother Nature, the pain and stress he is currently carrying. He wants to speak his troubles, but he is worried that the blasted Hawk King's 'Ears' might hear...so he lets out a heavy sigh instead, in hopes of lessening his burden but was proved to be futile. Naesala spoke softly, "Just once..." ,he paused "...I'd like for things to go right, to go the way I want it to." The Raven King smiled as he remembered parts of his childhood...the childhood he spent with Reyson, Leanne and the other herons, and of course Nealuchi. He remembers running through Serenes Forest after he played a prank on Rafiel and Lillia, dragging Reyson through the gentle forest's green and gold plant life, trees and bushes flying past them as he looked for a place to hide from the grown-ups. Lillia had of course felt Reyson's presence, and dragged the two out of hiding. The Raven King let out a short laugh as he remembered how Reyson cried when he was found because he was so scared of punishment. Naesala's face changed back to the miserable one he had before, "Lillia...." her death has always burdened him, along with the other deaths of heron clan. "One day I will avenge your deaths...but for now, I must lay low" ,he smiled at the flower that seemed to make his memories flow, hoping that the flower survives, the only one he can share his thoughts and concerns with, without uttering a single word, and making him more confident nonetheless.
Well...yea..it WAS short but it was fun to type..not to think up as much..the story just sort of flowed from my fingers..it was quite nice.
