Summary: Seamus's parents are getting a divorce.

A/N: I don't think Seamus's parents ever got a divorce but I thought it might be a good story so here we go...

Disclaimer: I don't own Seamus or kneazles. I wish I owned all the wonderful HP stuff, but I don't.

5 year old Seamus lay snuggled up in his bed. He pulled his stuffed kneazle, Nate, closer as he listened to his parents argue.

"So maybe it's over?" his mother asked.

"Katherine, we can't make this work any longer."Braeden replied. Katherine yelled in frustration and Seamus heard a door slam.

Seamus sniffled as tears ran down his cheeks.Braeden flicked his wand and the lights came on in his son's room.

"Seamus, what's wrong?"

Sniffling, he answered, "Where's mum? I want mum."

"C'mon now, put away those tears. Big boys don't cry. She'll be back soon."

Sniffling, Seamus rolled away from his dad. Braeden pat him lightly on the shoulder and left the room.

Katherine sighed as she packed up Seamus's things. She couldn't take all the lies anymore. She had tried to fool herself, tell herself that Braeden wasn't cheating on her. She wouldn't put up with it anymore. She was taking Seamus and moving out.

Seamus walked into the room carrying Nate. He looked around for a moment.

"Mum, what are you doing?"

We're going away for a little while honey." Katherine said.

"Where are we going?"

"To the country."

"Is Daddy coming?"

Katherine stopped for a moment. She turned and picked her son up.

"No Seamus, it's just going to be you and me."

Seamus nodded as he was put on the ground. "Will Daddy come see us?"

Katherine nodded.

Braeden shut his suitcase with a thud as Seamus walked through the door.

"Daddy,"

"Hmm..."

"What are you doing?" Seamus asked.

"We're going to move out." Braeden picked up his son.

"But mum's moving out too. I have to go with her."

"Well, you're going to come with me. You don't need your mum, I found a new one. She'll be here soon."

Seamus sniffled as he started to cry. "But I want to go with mum!"

"No Seamus," Braeden said firmly. Seamus beat his little fists against his dad's chest. Braeden pat his hand firmly on Seamus's bottom and set his son on the ground.

"Quit crying Seamus. You're going to love your new mum."

"No!" Seamus yelled, "I don't want a new mum. I'll hate her, and I hate you!" Seamus ran from the room and sprawled himself on his bed. Why did this have to happen? Why couldn't his mum and dad just love each other?

A/N: Well, what do you think? Did it reek big time?
