"What the hell did you just pull back there? That is so not like you Ziva." "Jesus Christ Tony just let it go!" We fought the entire drive home and now entering his... mine... our apartment, I told him bluntly feeling the hormones rage through my body. "No no no, you aren't gonna do this again Zi! You're not just gonna block me out when you want, where you want, how you want. We are in this together and I know you are holding something back! But nothing can or will break us now, nothing! I don't care if it will make me angry or whatever, I just need to know what's going on!" He was getting all defensive but through his eyes you could tell he was slightly hurt. "Is it something at work? Is it another guy? Zi! Talk to me!" I heard what he was saying but I just didn't feel like listening. I threw the keys into the bowl next to the door and by now you could tell he was just flat out angry and then started raising his voice. "ZIVA COME ON! I HATE THESE MIND GAMES! THEY ARE ALWAYS CONFUSING AND I HATE NOT KNO-" "I'm pregnant Tony." I turned around facing him just scared out of my mind and squeezed my eyes shut. I couldn't handle the yelling and screaming in my ear from Tony. I just needed to get it out. Before I opened my eyes I felt his lips brush up against mine. Nothing too strong but not light either, just right for the situation. I fluttered my eyes open willing the tears back but one fell out. "Ziva." He simply said, but before he could finish I blurted out, "I'm scared Tony! So so scared!" He tried keeping me calm by calming himself first through his own words. "Listen to me, we will get through this. We can and we will. I promise to you I will be here for you and the baby, trough the pregnancy, through the birth, through raising him or her, whoever is inside of you." He leaned down to my stomach and placed a small kiss near my belly button. "How are you being so brave Tony? Doesn't this shock you at all? You are going to be a... father." He got up from his knees and looked straight into my eyes, "Yes. I am scared Ziva, but for some reason it just feels right, knowing that you are in my life and that now we have a little one on the way, it just all seems natural." He smiled. "How long are you anyway?" "Seven weeks." "Wow... Seven and half months to go." "Oh don't look so disappointed Tony, at least you aren't the one who has to look forward to being fat and sore all the time with the need of absolute junk food and swollen ankles." "No I don't, but I do have to look forward to being the one to provide you with all those needs." He laughed pulling Ziva into his arms and just letting their lives melt into each other and nothing in the world could pull them away from their thoughts. The sweet scent he breaths in through his nose and the heart beat pounding through his chest into her ear. Nothing could be better than this moment for the two of them...
