Fang, I'll be by your side
I looked at Fang, who was staring up at the night sky. Fang hasn't been acting like himself lately. He always looked kind of tired, and like he was about to cry or something. His eyes flickered to my face. "May I help you?" He asked, looking kinda sad. "What's wrong, Fang? You haven't been..ya know… Fang-like…for a week now. I'm worried about you. The whole flock has been." I said softly, searching his face. "M-max." That was all he could say before he completely broke down.
I stared at him with shock. I scooted closer to him and wrapped my arms around him. "The whole reason that I haven't been myself is because I'm a total coward." Fang sobbed on my shoulder. I all of the sudden remembered a song that has been floating in my head. "Fang, listen to me." I took a deep breath to ready myself.

"You're not a coward. Everyone knows that. Don't put yourself down like that. I love you." I blurted out. I slapped my hand over my mouth. Well, Max. Look at the little situation you just got yourself into. I thought to myself. Fang answered shyly. "I love you, too. That's what I meant by being a coward. I didn't know what you would say about that.." I silenced him with a kiss. " That's all I actually needed to know, Fang. Remember, Fang, I'll be by your side. No matter what."
