Over Pasta
Summary: A songfic (for the most part). Fluff
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: You know just as well as I do what goes here. If I owned them, I would be doing something more productive with my time. was written and performed by Alanis Morissette, so in other words, I don't own any of it. Oh well.
A/N: This probably takes place right after Out, but I suppose it could happen anytime.

He's staring at me. I look back down into the pasta. His eyes are boring holes in my..... in me.

Like
anyone would be,
I am flattered by your
fascination with me.

Why am I so self conscious when he stares at me? It's not like I care. Because I don't. I wasn't made to care.

Like
any hot-blooded woman,
I have simply wanted an object to crave.
But you
You're not allowed,
You're uninvited,
An unfortunate slight.

I look up again. He smiles. Damn him. Why did he have to smile? His smile is almost as bad as his eyes. Eyes Only. There's so much more, though. More than his eyes. More than his smile. He's making me nervous. I bet he knows it too.

Must be
strangely exciting,
to watch the stoic
squirm.

He was born to be a crusader for world peace. Or so he thinks. I was born to be a crusader of war. Funny isn't it. Then again, he tries to carry out his crusade. I've lest mine behind. We're strong people. We should stand on our own. We're crusaders. We shouldn't need each other.

Must be
somewhat heartening,
to watch shepard lead
shepard.
But you
You're not allowed,
You're uninvited,
An unfortunate slight.

Why the fuck is he staring at me so intensely? Just keep eating, Max. Pretend like he's not there. Even if he was, it doesn't matter.

Like
any uncharted territory
I must seem
greatly intriguing.
But this
is not allowed.
You're uninvited,
An unfortunate slight.
I
don't think you're unworthy,
But I need a moment
to deliberate.

Okay, so that was a lot of pure nothingness. But I think it's pretty good for a thirty minute writing spree. So, tell me what you thought. You know you want to.
