"So, when do you think she's gonna read it?" Toph asked Aang, staring at him as he hid a note in Katara's empty canteen. It said, Dear Katara,
I'd like you to meet me on Appa in half an hour. Just in case you didn't already know, Appa's going to be flying up in the sky. So, just when you get this, look up!
Aang sighed. "Well, hopefully soon…"
"Ya know, usually I'm not into all this gushy lovey dovy stuff, but this is really cool." Toph got up. Aang air bended the canteen to right in front of Katara's tent.
"I think she's coming back!" Aang whispered. Toph's reflex was to pull her self into the earth by making it quick sand and come out of the ground a couple yards away.
Aang's reflex was nothing more than to pull out his glider and fly nowhere but up. Katara stepped out and saw her canteen oddly in front of her. She saw the end of a piece of folded up paper sticking out.
"Oh…" Katara said under her breath. " Hmmm…I wonder who gave me this letter…" she said sarcastically after reading the letter. Katara looked up to see Appa circling her. Well, it hasn't been a half our but still, I'm sure he won't be surprised to see me early…
Katara waved her arm in the air and Appa swooped down to the ground near her. (A/N: Shut up! Quit laughing cause I made it sound like Katara has power of Appa…Aang saw her and brought him down!) Aang's head peeked from behind one of Appa's horns. "Hey, Katara! Glad you could make it." Katara smiled and pulled herself up on Appa. "What did you want, Aang?"
Aang blushed for a second. "Well, since Sokka and Toph left-because-they-uh-needed something,-" Katara put her hand on Aang's knee which made him jump. "It's OK, Aang, I know what you're trying to say." Katara kissed him on the cheek and held his hands.
"Aang…I love you. A lot. I've been trying to tell you but things just keep getting in the way. Like Toph, or Sokka. Especially Sokka. So, I might've let them in on it that I was going to tell you this today…is that okay with you?" Aang gaped at her. "Well-well it was okay with me as soon as you said you loved me…I love you too." more blushing!
So, Toph knew that Katara was going to tell me today? Sokka too?! Man! This is awesome…she is so beautiful!
He lightly kissed her on the cheek. "I can't believe this…" he whispered. "Yeah. It's hard to believe that Toph and Sokka were keeping us from being together without even knowing it!"
"Yeah, I'm really glad you love me back, Katara." this made Katara blush really, really hotly. "Me too." Katara kissed Aang on the lips before hugging him happily.
