Hello, this is just a little family friendly Easter oneshot featuring my favorite family (other than my own.) The Logans! :D
Disclaimer: Do I even need to say it at this point?
Story in BB's P.O.V.
I woke up early Sunday morning eager to start the day. Today was a very special day, Easter and I was going to spend it with my family.
I immediately leaned over to give my beautiful wife/former team mate Raven a kiss. "Hey tall, green and handsome" she said tiredly yet lovingly.
"Hey honey, happy Easter." I said grinning my signature grin.
"How about I go wake Vicky and you make breakfast?" "Okay" she said, half yawning while getting out of bed.
I walked towards the door of my now 10 year old daughter's room. I gently knocked on the door, unsurprisingly there was no responce.
So I quietly opened the door and tip-toed in.
If you were to go in to her room (which she lets very few people do) you would find that Victoria Logan isn't like alot of girls her age.
For starters, her walls are almost completely covered with posters of classic rock and metal bands and musicians. You can find posters dedicated to everyone from Pink Floyd to Ozzy Osborne.
However, there is one area where you can find something different. On the part of her ceiling just above her bed is a slightly different poster.
It depicts her favorite scene from her favorite movie. The heart warming kissing scene atop Spiral Hill from the classic movie "The nightmare before Christmas."
I walked to the foot of her bedand morphed into the form of a cat. I began purring and rubbing against Vicky's cheek to try and get her to wake up.
She finally opened up one of her dark green eyes, I leaned in and meowed as if to say 'good morning sunshine.' "Good morning to you too daddy."
She exclaimed brightly she herself morphed into a kitten and stretched.
"Like father like daughter" I said chuckling after resuming my usual form. "C'mon kiddo, your mom's got breakfast cooking." "Last one down's a piece of bad tofu!"
I challenged playfully. "But daddy, you and I both know tofu doesn't go bad." I stopped in thought to ponder what she had said, before noticing she had gotten a head start.
As expected the little 1/4 demon beat me to the kitchen. "Hi mom" Vicky said cheerily "Hello dear" Raven said back happily.
Raven placed nice hot plates of tofu eggs, tofu bacon and grits in front of us. After our meal and casual chit chat, Raven gave Victoria a small wicker basket and lead her through the sliding glass door to the back yard.
After about 10 minutes Vicky came back in with a basket full of multi-colored eggs. "That was really fun, you guys hid them really well this year."
Victoria stopped believing in the Easter Bunny years ago, but still enjoyed the fun challenge of an easter egg hunt.
Raven soon went off to retrieve another basket for Victoria, this one containing all of the chocolate goodies.
"Now only eat a couple" Raven chided motherly, however her advich was ignored as the contents of the basket were soon gone.
In an instant Vicky morphed into a chipmunk and began running around the house. After several minutes of chaos she morphed back.
"I don't feel too great" she said holding her stomach. Vicky then made a mad dash for the nearest bathroom where Raven and I heard various retching noises.
I started chuckling to myself "She'll never learn" I said heading to the bathroom to help her out.
Moral of the story: DON'T over do it with the candy!
Thank you friends, now please review and tell me what you thought.
