'Sabina and Adam were walking along a boardwalk down by the Ocean. She couldn't help but look up at the stars and the moon, trusting Adam to guide them. As they turned a corner, he suddenly pulled her closer, wrapping his arms around her. One second he was leaning forward to kiss her, and the next second he was gone and she stood on the boardwalk alone.'
Sabina straight sat up in bed and took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. She could feel the tears on her cheeks. Adam rolled over next to her. "Sabina?" he asked, knowing she was awake. Sabina quickly rubbed the tears off her cheeks.
"I'm alright, it was just a bad dream." Sabina told him.
"Oh yeah?" he wondered, sitting up to.
"Yeah. It just reminded me that we're not promised any more days than today."
"What do you mean?" he queried.
Sabina sighed. "The truth is, I am going to lose you one day, I almost have once already. What I have to do is love you for today and not worry about what tomorrow brings.
Adam smiled. "I love you too. And don't worry, you won't lose me for a long while."
"Promise?" she asked.
"As well as I can." He told her, wrapping his arms around her. He wished he could promise that he'd always be there, but Sabina was right, who knew what tomorrow would bring?
