Riley's Destiny Chapter 1- Forever Free I burst through the hard cold medal doors as I ran as fast as I could go. I was finnally escaping! I would be as free as a Pidgey as soon as I got into that beautiful meadow that is said to lie beyond Team Galactic gates. Alarms blared and I could hear the houndoom barking furiously behind me. Lights flashed as I ran through the old court yard, lineing with countless types of machineary.
I was closinging in on the shiney medal gates that seperated the beatiful untamed meadow from team Galactic's pokemon containment unit. I picked up speed as I ran at full speed towards the gates, I jumped up into the air and landed perching on one of the sharp medal poles on the fence. I slightly glanced back at the base then looked forward again toward the beautiful meadow...
"It-Its true!" I thought. "The meadow is acctually here!", It -s not just a filthy lie told by my inmates." I jumped off of the pole I was perched on, landed on two paws and begun running through the meadow. I saw flowers, that where the most beautiful flowers i've seen im my entire life.
The steam I saw had crysal clear water flowing through it, the freshest water i've ever seen . I had to go take a drink of it, it was so beatiful and appitizing looking. I ran over to the stream and cuped my paws together and dipped them into the crystal clear water. My cuped paws soon filled with water, I put my muzzle down into my paws and slowly licked the refreshing water. It tasted so good, fresh,
clean and pure. I seperated my two paws letting the rest of the water drain out. I got up and stepped into the stream and then sat back down again, allowing all of the fresh water to cover me. I needed this anyway, I sorta smelled from being in a cage for 2 years in a row without a bath.
I was completely drenched exept my head, so I held my breath and dunked my head under the clear water. It wasen't deep so I had to lean forward. I brought my head up, shook it to dry it off a bit. My fur was completely drenched now. I pulled my self toward the bank and layed my head down on the soft grass. I turned to my back and looked up into the beatiful sky as the sun began to fall be-
hind the herizon. My eyes began to close and I began to drift off...into a peacful sleep, a free sleep. "Im free"
I thought. "Forever Free".
