i.
do you ever feel, feel so paper thin, like a house of cards, one blow from caving in

Paper thin.
They're the words Lysander Scamander would use to describe himself.
His life is lacking in substance, but he doesn't know how or where to find it.
'Cause his life seems great to any passer by.
Loving parents, not-to-annoying sibling, great friends, good grades, he has it all.
But he's got a hole inside, something's missing.
And he's soso desperate to find it.

ii.
do you ever feel already buried deep, six feet under scream, but no one seems to hear a thing

Rose Weasley feels buried.
Trapped in the world of study, knowledge and work.
Trapped under her good girl façade.
Trapped in her stupid family and all its stupid problems.
Everything's a hurricane, a big dark hurricane.
She's not happy and anyone can tell if they look hard enough, but no one does.
She want to break free, run away, escape into the big world.
She can't, of course (what with OWLs coming up), but every night she can't help but wish.

iii.
do you know that there's still a chance for you, cause there's a spark in you

And then they find each other in all the mess, and, oh, suddenly life is so much better.
They go on trips all over the place.
Churches and parks and lakes and the seaside.
Laughing, talking, picnicking, having fun, pretending yesterday never happened and tomorrow will never come.
Lysander's lighting up Rose's world, and Rose is filling up Lysander's hole.
They're so perfect together.

iv.
you just gotta ignite the light, and let it shine

He's spontaneous and loud, she's sensible and calm, but somehow it works and they're falling soverymuch in love soveryfast.
Everyone notices and soon RoseandLysander are they can talk about and Scorpius won't look to Rose for weeks (why? She asked herself I've done nothing wrong).

v.
cause baby you're a firework, come on show 'em what your worth

And slowly they change each other. Rose becomes happier, not so centred around work and no play and Lysander feels light as air and relaxed, at least around her.

vi.
baby you're a firework, come on let your colours burst

And the summer passes in whirls of colour (green grass, orange skies, blue sea), swirls of light (sunlight, moonlight, torchlight) and twirls of happiness, oh so much happiness.

vii.
after a hurricane comes a rainbow

And then they're back at school, with OWLs ahead and so much homework. And slowly their love fades away and when they break up, they don't really feel too sad, because they've just had a rainbow summer and they'll never forget it, and that little bit of love will live on forever.
