Authors Note: I realise that I have another story out there somewhere that requires a new chapter but this came to me and who am I to judge the power of the muse's?
A quick (fluffy) one-shot that came to me in the strangest of places and and the strangest of times... Remus/Sirius cause it was meant to be... rated M for a brief bit of language... doesn't bother me but I don't want to hurt sensitive ears.... :-)
Special thanks to the beta that allowed all this to happen - Yummytimelord everyone! add cheers and applause for effect

Remus was stretched out on his bed, studying for his charms exam when Sirius came bouncing into the room.
'Hi!' he said cheerily.
'Hmm.' was the barely audible grunt of a reply that he got.
'Watcha doing?'
'Sirius please, because I was recovering in the infirmary after the full moon I didn't get a chance to study for this exam so if you don't mind...?' Remus answered, indicating with his head to the door.
Slightly insulted by Remus' not so subtle hint to 'Please leave the fucking room and don't let the door hit your arse on the way out!', he jumped up on the bed and straddled Remus' hips.
'Ah your only jealous that I know all this stuff and you don't!' Sirius replied playfully.
'Sirius Black are you familiar with the saying 'Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to put it in a salad.'?' Remus asked shoving Sirius of his legs.
'A tomato is a fruit?'
'Yes.' Was the curt and final reply that was followed by the silent, but all too familiar follow up, 'now please let me be'.
After a few moments of silence, sitting on the end of Remus' bed, Sirius finally spoke up.
'Hey... What did you mean by what you said earlier?... The thing about the tomato...' Sirius looked at Remus.
Remus let out an exasperated sigh. 'Just cause you know something, doesn't mean your wise enough to actually use it properly.'
'Are you saying that I am not wise Remus John Lupin?'
Remus looked at Sirius, cocking his head to the side and with a dramatic 'HMMMMMM....' he answered. 'Yes.'
Sirius smirked and sat back at the end of the bed, resting his back against the pillar. Remus went back to studying. A few more moments of silence passed.
'Knowledge was knowing all the reasons why I love you, wisdom was letting myself fall in love with you...'
Remus looked up from his book. He didn't know whether to scoff or swoon. So he did neither, instead he raised an eyebrow and waited for Sirius to say something hilarious or to counteract his initial statement. Neither happened.
Instead Sirius crawled up to lie beside him and placed a small kiss on his cheek. 'I mean it.' he whispered. Remus hugged him with a sigh of defeat.
Sirius won. He would always win.
