Prologue~

The pain was a dull throb that pounded through his body like a hammer on an anvil. His arms were sore, as was the rest of his body, and his wrists had been rubbed raw from the rusty chains. Each breath drawn in was like a death rattle that echoed through the room. The red optic band was a dull shade from pain and humiliation. Moonlight flickered down upon the navy from; the Decepticon symbol showing harshly on his chest.

Soundwave rolled his head back to look out the barred window high above him; the chains clanking harshly against the comforting silence. He wasn't alone though; his lover lay curled in his lap, shivering from the inevitable cold. Sympathy etched in his optic band; Soundwave pulled the seeker closer, leaning down to softly nuzzle his throat. Thundercracker's opics slowly turned online as his body shuddered from the warm caresses bestowed upon him.

Wrapping his legs around Soundwave's waist, Thundercracker pulled imself up to remove his mate's faceplate. Setting the faceplate aside, he quickly busied his fingers with tracing every feature. From the strong, distinctive jawline; to the high, well sculputed cheekbones. Thundercracker thought Soundwave's face was crazingly handsome, and was thoroughly puzzled as to why he hid it, but never asked. As if moving through a glacier, both lent to each other to lips met and tongue brushed tongue. Bodies molded together in long familiar 'ways'.

Moving back while brushing his lips against Soundwave's pale blue ones, Thundercracker whispered softly, "Love me?" His voice sounded dry and hoarse from lack of use, but still succeeded in getting the message across.

Smiling down at the smaller mech, Soundwave replied equally softly, "Always."

This is the first rough-draft. I'm going to be re-doing it later, after I find a new college.
