Full Summary: I never got to tell you a lot of things, Ryan says. I've always wanted to tell you, but I never got the chance. Slight allusions to 'Urban Hellraisers' and 'All In'.

A/N: If you don't understand it, the prequel is called 'Why You?'

'I never got to tell her,' Ryan Wolfe was repeating this sentence in his head as he walks to her grave.

'Why didn't I tell her?' Ryan thinks as he reaches the marble headstone. He looks at the inscription on the grave and runs his fingers through his soft brown hair. It reads: "Calleigh Duquesne, 1974-2008."

He notices her picture in a small decorated picture frame located at the bottom of the headstone. He stares sombrely at it. There is also a bouquet of yellow tulips right next to the picture. He gives a sad smile. Her gave her those tulips-- her favourite flowers --at her funeral.

"Oh Cal," Ryan whispers to the picture. "I should've told you. I've been so stupid, putting it off day after day."

A gentle breeze blows by the cemetery as Ryan continues to speak.

"I never got to tell you a lot of things," Ryan says, hazel eyes filled with sorrow. "I've always wanted to tell you, but I never got the chance."

Ryan lets out a sigh. He wishes that he wasn't telling her this here. He wishes that she was still alive and standing right in front of him, green eyes sparkling with a radiant smile on her face.

"I've always thought you were a great person, Calleigh. I never got to tell you that I loved when your eyes sparkled when we've caught a killer. I've also never told you that it was me who sent Elliott to fingerprints instead of QD."

He chuckles at that memory. "Eric wasn't the only one worried sick about you when you got kidnapped. Hell, I was tearing myself apart inside because I was afraid something happened to you. I…"

He pauses before taking a breath. This was it. Even though it wasn't the opportune moment, he was going to say the words that he's always wanted to say to her.

"I never got to tell you that I love you."

I love writing stuff like this. If you like Harry Potter, I have one of these in my stories list. :D R&R! Reviews make me mucho happy. XP
