Joey stood in a dark alley, His sister standing behind him. Sweat gathered on his forehead and back of his neck. The man dressed in black infront of him pointing a gun at Joey's head spoke " Hey punk , don't be
a hero , give me you're money and the girls jewellery" Serenity shifted uneasily behind her brother, She took her Grandmother's earings off and started to hand them forward " Please sir, don't hurt us"

"JOEY!!!" called a voice from the end of the alley.
"Yugi!!!" Joey called as Yami came sprinting down the alley.
The man pulled his trigger and shot at Yami , Yami dodged the bullets.
So, the man aimed at Joey and shot " JOEY!!!" Yami called throwing himself in front of Joey. The bullet burying itself deeper into his chest. Everything went slow motion for Joey, The strange man ran off, Why isn't Yugi turning around to see if we're alright like he normally does? he thought to , Yami fell to his knees and was lying on the floor. Serenity screamed. Joey collapsed to his knees next to his best friend who just took a bullet for him. "Yugi , Yugi can you hear me" he turned Yami onto his back , Yami's white shirt was already soaked in blood " Serenity call help" Joey took his shirt off and pressed it to the bullet wound applying pressure hoping to stop the bleeding.
"Hello, I need an ambulance, I'm in domino centre in the alley next to the clock tower , my friends been shot." she hung up and looked at Yami and tears started flooding down her face. Joey was still pushing down on Yami's chest when suddenly he heard an ambulance. " HEY , HEY WE'RE DOWN HERE"
"We're coming kid" called the paramedic
"He was shot by this man who tried to mugg us"
"You did the right thing trying to stop the bleeding it has slowed"

" He will if we don't get him out of here, help me out" The paramedic and Joey lifted Yami onto the stretcher and carried him to the ambulance

"He used to be abused when he was a kid , his father starved him and beat him, He used to only eat if he sneak a piece of fruit or something his dad wouldn't notice"

"Well My sister and I where taking a short cut though the alley because we were meeting Yugi at his Grandpa's game shop, when this man wearing black everything stepped out of the shadows holding a gun, he told us to give him all our money and jewellery, then Yugi came racing down the alley and jumped in front of me just as then man shot,"
