I have always loved him. Since we were young, and we were lovers. But as we have grown up, it has become more and more apparent that he loves another. Which is also hopeless, if you ask me. I mean, he's a bloody faerie! No one is like this naturally, which is why I hate myself for loving him.
And I hate living this lie. To be married to one who is unfaithful. He's always planning get-togethers with Hermia and …that man. I've never liked him all that much, but I've begun to dislike him all the more, for stealing my love's heart from me.
There was a time when we met on hill and in dale, and we made love so sweetly…but now…it is hard, ever so hard, to see him look on another as he used to look on me. And that 'other' does not even return his favors! Honestly! It is enough to make one despair.
It really is hard to love Demetrius.
