~The Story That Changed Everything~

Ch.1 the guardian

Today was the day that we finally declared war on those bloodsuckers. They almost killed all of our brethren decades ago. But we grew stronger and more powerful. I wish to fight. But I have a new job. It's being attached to the lord's youngest prince, Lokie. People tell me that's a very great job. They're wrong though. The truth is I'm connected physically and mentally with the kid! So I know where he is and what he feels, visa versa.

So here I stand beside Lokie, while his father, Stalin Graude the big guy who controls all of the Lycans, yells out in his powerful booming voice to all the Lycans of how we are going to defeat the vampire race. I hear a low growl coming from the oldest brother, Tolko. I glance over to see Lokie playing with his tail.

He looks up and instantly walks back over to me and whispers softly, "sorry." his small tail tucked between his legs and his ears pressed back against his head.

I sigh, "It's fine. Just knock it off."

As the speech ends and the crowd parts. I go off to my tent and sit on my bunk. I think to myself "if I can't fight, why the hell am I here?" I shake my head slightly. "mind as well go home then." I grab my pack and take the feather from my necklace and curls up my fist. Takes my hand and blows into my hand. The once phoenix feather is now just a ball of fire. which surrounds my body. As the fire dies down, I'm back in my regular clothes and in human form. I'm now in my regular life, I have a house. With my best friend.

I look around an blink "were is she anyways." I suddenly hear what I've been hearing each time I get here. I blush darkly and cover my ears. Ever since she met that dumb ass, john, they've been at it ever since! Try's not to get angry. But of course I can't help it. I'm half way up the stairs when I feel a pain in my side. I look down and see blood going through my shirt.

My eyes widen, "Lokie…"
