Jeff sat on the sofa watching the money in the bank ladder match going on Live in Orlando at Wrestlemania 24. Nobody was being harder on Jeff, than he was being on himself. Jeff was snapped out of his dismal daze when who he thought was the only good thing in his life curled up next to him. "Do you want me to make you a sandwich?" Charlie Fontaine asked stroking the fading designed stubble along his chin.

"Not hungry." Jeff shook his head staring at the TV intently when Shelton smashed through a ladder which lay up against the barricade. 'That could have been me' Jeff thought to himself longingly. Most people wouldn't enjoy being thrown into, and through a ladder, but it was what Jeff lived for.

Charlie frowned, she grabbed Jeff's chin and forced him to face her. "Hey, hey...Listen to me. You made a mistake. Sitting here beating yourself up about it won't change a thing. You need to utilize this experience and learn from it." Charlie advised her boyfriend.

"I've been through this before Char. But this time, this time it is totally different. I could have gotten so much this time! I was headlining Char. FUCKING HEADLINING! Vince was giving me everything! Everything I've ever dreamt of having in this company! Everything I've ever wanted! AND I FUCKING BLEW IT! I BLEW IT ALL AWAY!" Jeff shouted walking over to the luggage that Charlie had packed for him since he would be going to rehab tomorrow. Jeff kicked the stack of luggage causing it to tumble down onto the floor in a heap.

Charlie shook her head as she watched her boyfriend rub and periodically beat his knuckles against his forehead. Charlie took the remote and shut off the widescreen plasma.

"Jeff... Baby why are you doing this to yourself?" Charlie asked exasperatedly. She crossed the room and took a hold of his hand. "You can't change anything that has happened. All you can do is try your best to get better." Charlie spoke soothingly.

"I'm sorry." Jeff shook his head finally looking down into his girlfriend's eyes.

"For what?" Charlie asked perplexed.

"For keeping it from you. That I had relapsed. For putting you through all of this. For driving you up a wall with my insanity." Jeff sighed ashamed of himself. "I don't even know why you are still here. Why you didn't leave me yet." Jeff stated miserably.

"I will NEVER leave you Jeff. As long as you want me, I'll never leave. Ever." Charlie assured Jeff, wrapping her arms around his broad toned waist.

Jeff pulled his girlfriend into an embrace so tight that he squeezed her breath away.

"Babe, I don't care about what I am going through. All I care about is that you get better. Then we can worry about the aftermath." Charlie spoke softly while she gingerly let her fingertips caress his back.

"God I love you." Jeff sighed into her hair, only to inhale her mango scented shampoo soon after.

"I love you too...Jeff listen to me… You stumbled a little this time, but I promise, I'm not going to let you fall." Charlie assured her boyfriend. She stood on her tippy toes and sealed her promise with a passionate kiss.
