Weapons of Mass Destruction

Wildstrike studied the weapon, unflinching, but wary. Why of all things would a superior officer give her this? She hadn't yet been trained to use it. And he wanted her to use it on Sideswipe.

"Wild, it's just a needle. You know which line to stick it in his arm," Ratchet commented dryly from the side.

"Are you sure you trust her with that?" Sideswipe eyed the needle in her hand.

"Yes. And you need your virus record updated. Quit fidgeting and let her do her job."

She glanced at the arm devoid of armor and sighed. She had just gone over this. It wouldn't be too hard. She gently held the arm and carefully inserted the needle into the correct tubing, put in the liquid in, and carefully took it back out. Quickly, she stuck a sort of patch over the hole.

"Very good," Ratchet approved briefly, "Now we'll work on updating everyone else's records. I'll take care of Prowl and Saber though."

"It's over? Can I go?" Sideswipe asked as he backed his way out of the room, "No more practice shots?"

"Yes. Shoo. Oh, and get your brother over here for his shots," Ratchet called after the retreating mech.

At the loud relieved sigh from down the hall, Wild grinned slightly.

"Bratling," Ratchet mumbled as his finished updating Sideswipe's records, "Go on. I'll take care of the rest for today. Study that datapad I gave you, and be ready to test over it tomorrow."

Wild walked down the hall to her room, went in, and shut the door. Only then did she see the title for the next test.
