I OWN NOTHING!

Destiny felt as if the air had been sucked out of the room and she was suffocating. She couldn't believe it, it couldn't be true. Matthew dead? Impossible he was supposed to be getting better so they could raise their child together.

"Hello? Are you there Destiny?" asked Nora on the end of the line.

Destiny swallowed," I'm here" she replied in a weak voice.

"I know this is hard to accept I can hardley believe it myself" whimpered Nora. "Oh Destiny I wish I were telling you good news I'm so sorry".

"I'm sorry to Mrs.B, I'm sorry too." She whispered as she hung up the phone. Then she backed up against the wall and started sobbing until Shaun came in wondering what all the noise was.

"What's the matter Lil D? Food smell too nasty?" he joked until he saw her face.

"Matthew died" she mumbled. " What? I didn't catch that?" Destiny then stood with tears in her eyes shaking slightly. " MATTHEW IS DEAD AND I"M ALL ALONE" she screamed as she ran into her room slamming and locking the door. Completly forgetting about Thanksgiving and the pie she had been thinking about all day. Curled up on her bed as her grandparents and Shaun knocked on the door repeatedly trying to get her to come out and talk to them. But all she wanted to do was sleep and never wake-up. Matthew was the only reason she kept the baby and the only reason she was motivated to not give up on her life and now, he was dead. Destiny stayed in her room doing nothing but sleeping until the nightmares became too much then, she just cried. Had it not been for the multiple snacks she had in her purses she would have starved. When Sunday night arrived she knew she would have to face the world in the morning, as much as she wanted to stay home she needed the credits for when she left to have the baby. As much as her phone blew up with calls and people knocked on the door they would NEVER know how she felt. NEVER.
