Lion's Sorrow

Hello this is Angeli Amori (Angel's Love for those of you that don't know), and this is my new fanfic. This is a Squffie.

Chapter 1

A New Day

"Squall!" Yuffie complained to her fighting partner, and long time crush Squall Leonheart.

"It's Leon, and you're not getting out of this." He told her quickly.

"But I don't wannaaaaaa!!!" she protested.

Squall smiled. He loved his partner's childlike way of complaining. He never got tired of it.

"That's enough, now come on, Aerith's waiting."

"Hmpf…" she grumbled as she followed him into the hotel. She was supposed to get ready for Sora's birthday party. Sora was turning 18! Not only that, but it was New Year's Eve! Sora's birthday just happened to be on December 31st, so they were having one big party!(that's my birthday ;D)

She was excited but she felt no need to "make herself pretty" for it.

As they both made their way into the second district, all the power went out, turning the streets into pitch black mysteries.

"EEK!" Yuffie yelled as she threw herself into Leon. She was afraid of the dark.

"You have got to be kidding me." Leon said as he started walking forward.

"WAIT! LEON! I'm scared…" Yuffie said to the darkness.

"Fine." He mumbled as he grabbed her hand and started to lead her through the darkness.

Yuffie couldn't help but blush when Squall took her hand. Here she was, being led through the dark, holding hands with….SQUALL!!!!

She sighed.

"What is it now?" Leon said in an irritated voice.

"N..n..nothing! Nothing at all…" she said quickly, barely hiding her embarrassment.

Whatever, Leon told himself.

You keep telling yourself that Squall boy…

Shut up…

Just admit it, you sorta like the girl.

No, she's a pest.

A LIKEABLE pest…

Whatever.

Exactly.

"Leon?" Yuffie questioned.

"What is it?" Leon asked.

"You stopped walking; I thought something was wrong…" Yuffie trailed off.

"Sorry, I was just thinking to myself…" Squall answered.

So was I Leon, Yuffie thought to herself.

Yea, about his nice ass…

So?

At least you admit it.

Yep!

Sometimes I wonder how you can be so cheerful. Dare you to smack his butt.

What? No he'd kill me!

Do it. Come on. You KNOW you want to.

Of course I want….hey now just wait a minute.

Doooo ittt…

No! Grrr! Go away stupid thoughts.

Fine have it your way, I would have smacked his butt.

"Yuffie?"

"Y..y..yes?" Yuffie asked.

"Now you're the one that stopped walking." Leon replied

"Oh of course," Yuffie said as she blushed like mad.

This was gonna be one heck of a night…

And that's the first chapter to that. Getting all of my progress in works finished before I start any new chapters. So here it is. Read and Review please, and I'll write more. This is gonna be a squffie.
