Just something sweet for all you who love reading on something short and cute. :D
"Brother!" screamed a small boy. He reached desperately to me with a petrified expression on his young face. I wanted to reach out to him. I really did, but I was frozen in place to terrified myself to move.
"Brother! Please!" he screamed again. Parts of his body started to vanish from him and melting into thin air. This snapped me back to reality and I quickly stood against the strong gust's of wind.
"Alphonse!" I shouted, standing to my feet. I took a step but something held my other leg in place. I looked down to see this…this…this thing on my leg! In fact, a bunch showed up all over me and hissed loudly in my ears.
"Hey! Let go!" I shouted struggling against them. But there were too many, and they were remarkably strong too.
"Brother! Help me!" Al screamed with tears in his eyes. He reached for me. I could see half his face gone. With everything I was worth, I reached for his hand. I don't care if the rest of his arm was missing; I just had to grab his hand!
"Al!" I shouted one last time making a mad dive for his hand, only to disappear before I even could touch it.
"ALPHONSE!!" I screamed falling into darkness.
Edward bolted awake covered in sweat. His took deep breathes, seeing he was still in the Rockbell maintenance room. A cool wet cloth was draped on his forehead. He could feel his bandaged stub arm on his side pulsing slightly with pressured blood. Even after the horrific incident, he couldn't help the fact that it felt empty not having a right arm.
Without looking he knew they were going into several other devises connected to him that he wished not to see or think about.
He closed his eyes and forced himself to fall back asleep.
Something warm tickled his neck though, keeping him awake. With the cloth and his matted hair covering his right eye, he glanced to his side.
Instantly he wished he hadn't moved. He held in a gasp when a sleeping blonde laid her head right next to his, her face buried deep in his pillow. Her shoulder length hair was sprawled all around her face with her nose a mere inch from his ear.
'Great! Now what?' Ed thought as he miserably sat there frozen in place.
Winry's breath tickled his ear, but strangely yet sent electrifying chills down his spine. Why? He was just 11 and puppetry was miles away for a kid like him. (especially him!)
But why is he blushing?
He was about to move when Winry began to stir. He held his breathe, desperately praying she wouldn't wake up to see his red face. To his horror though, something much worst happened.
Winry sleepily wrapped her arms around his neck, drawing him near her face. He squeaked out in surprise, his face heating up even more.
A small happy sigh escaped the sleeping beauty and she snuggled into his cheek bone with smile.
Though he was in a tight predicament, he couldn't help but find her cute when she sleeps.
He took a deep breathe, hoping to calm his wild nerves and rested his head next to hers and drifted back to sleep…
… never noticing the girls smile creeping into a sly grin.
