Querida Means?

A/N this is one shot and pretty much my first Jesse/Suze story so don't be TOO harsh!
"Querida…"
He whispered softly in my ear. I mean, he has a voice that shivers me timbers if you have to know. And those dark eyes of his, when you look at them you just drown… How to describe? Jesse de Silva is the hottest thing that's been brought onto earth and the sad thing is, no one else can see that he's with me.
"Querida…"
I love the way he can just say that one word, of which the meaning completely escapes me, but make me smile like they'll be no tomorrow.
And the way his lips feel against my temple, making me feel safe and secure in those strong and GORGEOUS arms of his.
"Querida…"
I wish I could stay like this forever. That time would stop for both of us. That I wouldn't grow older and Jesse be dead. That he would have a heartbeat, breath –mint one please! - And that I could feel the warmth that should be radiating from his body.
"Querida… are you alright?"
"Yeah, sorry… got lost in my thought," thoughts about you.
"I love you, querida."
"I love you too Jesse… what does it mean?"
"Love? Well, I think it's what I feel for you and…
"No… not love silly! I mean querida. What does it mean?"
"Oh, lo sciento. It means dearest one."
I smile because he looks sheepish and he smiles back at me. When you see his face like that it seems to lighten up and god… Do I sound as pathetic as I feel? Being in love with a ghost; but I wouldn't stop if I could.
"So, I'm your dearest one, then?"
"Indeed you are, querida, but no need to grin like that."
"Well, Jesse, mi amore, I want to be your querida forever…"
And then he kissed me, and I knew that all I wanted and will ever want is him. And that no matter what happens it will always be the same; the same feeling, the love, the lust, the want, the need, and most probably the pain of the injustice of life. But one day he would truly be mine and for the moment I can still enjoy thosefeathery kisses of his.
