Kind of inspired by Deeks and Sam being tortured in season 4 .

The start.

The paramedic was doing his very best to get Deeks to calm down though that seemed impossible. After along struggle they managed to get him to the hospital. He had scars and dry blood all over his body. It was going to be a long recovery both physically and mentally.

Deeks' POV

I was in a lot of pain. Every muscles, every bone ached. All I wanted was her. Only she could make this all better. I was concentrating on her when the doctors decides to try open my mouth. Fat chance nobody is coming near me. I'm terrified. I put up a fight clearly strong enough to make the doctors leave to get help. I'm alone the only person I want is Kensi.

Kensi Pov

I left LA nearly a year ago. Our thing was getting in the way of our careers and I couldn't forgive myself I'd Deeks got hurt because of me.

It was late afternoon I was sitting in the couch of my new home in Hawaii when I got a call from Granger. He informed me that an operation had gone bad and that Deeks had been tortured for over 5 days. Granger said he was refusing help from doctors. My heart sank. I went numb. Why can't he just take the help? I tell Granger I'll try to be in La ASAP.

Nobody's POV

Kensi gets the next flight to LA. She catches a taxi to the hospital. She's running through the hospital. She just wants to be with him. Hold him. Tell him everything is going to be Ok. She wants to tell him what she told him a year ago that she loves him and that she's not going anywhere. It takes only a few minutes to find Granger. He directs her to Deeks' room. When she steps through the door she sees Deeks covered in scars and dried blood. Her heart breaks. He is in agony she can tell by his face. When he looks up and sees her his eyes are threatening to bulge with tears.

"Hey" he says simply almost sarcastically with a slight smile.

"Hey" Kensi replies.

She walks to the side of the trolley he's lying on and takes his hand.

"Deeks you need to let the doctors help you"

"Not until you answer my questions" he demands quietly

"Go ahead" Kensi says eagerly just wanting to get him help.

"Why did you leave me" a single tear runs down his cheek

"Because I Love You, you moron and I don't want you getting hurt because you were concentrating on me not getting hurt. Is that a good enough and-"

He cuts her off saying "I Love You too, Fern"

She is happy they both finally admit how they feel but she can sense his fear of being here after being tortured it's only natural. She leans down and kisses his forehead to reassure him. He looks up at her and she can see the tears in his eyes.

"I'm scared Kens" he says with tears running down his face.

"I know baby I'm going to go call help and I'll be here the whole time, I promise" she replies reassuringly.

Then they both know everything is going to be okay.
