I sat in my throne in the Hall Of Princes, to my left sat Mika Ver Leth, and to my right was Kurda Smahlt. Kurda had once been named a traitor, (because of me) but they did the same to him as they did to me- rose above the rules and let him become a Prince. I loved watching him, doing nothing, just looking at his golden locks, well-built body and his small body gestures. Kurda often saw me staring at him, but he just smiled softly, showing me them wonderfully straight white pearls…
I wasn't sure if Kurda was hetro or homosexual. I thought about this for sometime.

"Are you even listening to me, Darren?" I heard Mr. Crepsley say. I didn't have a clue what he said.
"Of course I 'am." I replied. "And am hurt by the thought that you thought otherwise." I said smoothly.
"You're right, I'am sorry" He apologised. "So, will you be the spy?"
I grimaced. A spy for what? I couldn't say no as it would seem like I was a coward if it was something easy. But what if it was something deadly and cruel? However, if I asked him to repeat it he would know I wasn't paying attention. I just spoke the first thing that came to mind.
"Game!"
The princes and Mr. Crepsley exchanged looks. Kurda felt my forehead to check I was okay, as a joke. His soft hand gently spread on my forehead, it felt cold but I didn't care. I wandered off into another daydream, but soon came back to the real world.
"What do you mean by game?" Mr Crepsley asked.
"Well, I do not think it is fair that I should just be lumbered with the spy jobs all the time. We could play a game to decide fairly." I answered.
"What was you thinking of, Darren?" Kurda spoke for the first time in the conversation. "Like, spin the bottle?" He giggled and everyone else burst into fits of laughter. I liked the Hall when it was like this. Just us princes and maybe a few friends, no annoying generals or ordinary vampire's worrying about them stupid vampaneze.
"Yes". I finally replied quietly after the laughing had died down. "Spin the bottle was exactly what I was thinking".
