Hey guys! Here's this oneshot I've been meaning to post for a while. I was going to maybe shortly after Summer Slam but when Becky had her "heel" turn, I got carried away and wrote Enough of Falling Short. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy this Sasha oneshot I put together.

Sasha Banks had just finished getting ready for her match when she heard the clicking of high heels. It got louder and louder with every step.
Sasha turned to see Stephanie McMahon walking towards her with a smile on her face. This caught Sash by surprise.
"Hello Sasha."
Sasha gave a nervous smile, unsure if Steph was just stopping by to check on her or if she stopped by for a different reason.
"I know you've been doing well since arrived on the main roster, but I want to ask you something."
The Boss turned serious as she looked at the daughter of Vince McMahon, heart pounding and mind racing. She wasn't sure what this was leading up to, but she remained silent before asking any questions.
However, with Steph saying that Sasha was doing well sounded like a good sign. Maybe there was a greater opportunity for Sasha to take.
The magenta-haired superstar kept her body still as to not show that she was a bit nervous for what was possibly to come.
"I was wondering if you wanted to join the show Total Divas," said Steph. "It would continue to grow your success."
Sasha's eyes widened when she heard this. She remembered very well about the show Total Divas.
The show had lots of things. There was prone to be high school level drama, something that Sasha wasn't comfortable with being involved in. There were disagreements that would turn heated in a flash.
However, there was one major thing that Sasha found more unnerving than anything else. The thought of cameras following her around all the time swam in her head, making her sick to her stomach.
Sasha knew that unfortunately for her, any bit of action on her part would cause an uproar among several people. She had no desire to sacrifice her privacy for reaching for success the easy way. At that point, she had already made her decision.
"Thank you for the offer, Steph," she said quietly. "However, I'll be completely honest. This isn't something for me. I'm happy for the girls that choose to take that path, but it isn't for me."
She paused, looked down for a moment, then looked up again. She had been thinking about the next words she would say.
"I want to create my own path to success in the company," she continued. "I much prefer to earn my success through hard work and passion. I want to create my own brand, if you know what I mean."
Steph eyed her in surprise, feeling slightly upset that the magenta-haired woman rejected such an offer. However, she kept silent to let Sasha speak.
"To me, hard work to success will pay off in the end," she finished.
Steph understood what The Boss meant. Some people needed to take their own path to reach to the top and Sasha was no exception.
"Good luck," smiled Steph before walking away.
Sasha watched her leave then smirked to herself. She knew why she was doing so. She was proud of herself for making a great decision. She had already gotten a lot of favoritism from fans and fellow superstars alike. She wanted to keep it that way and still working her ass off was the way to do it.
She called it The Boss Way.
