Another short drabble…. I'll try to write something proper at SOME point.

A Quiet Afternoon
Harry and Draco, sittin' in a tree, well, technically under a tree, because when they'd come out for a nice after tea stroll around the Hogwarts grounds it had started to rain, and rather than stand around and get wet, ruining Draco's hair, they quickly decided to hide under the protective limbs of the big tree by the lake. It was also about then that they decided to have a bit of a snog under that tree.
But, after a while the rain had stopped and the quick snog, which actually ended up being rather long, was over and the two boys sat on the cool grass lost in thought as their hands lay palm to palm.
Harry blushed softly to himself as he ran his tongue over his bottom lip and wondered if his dry lips had felt as good to Draco as the other boys' soft pink mouth had felt against his own. His blush growing quite noticeable, Harry's left hand began to pluck up pieces of grass at its own accord in a very nervous way while Harry threw glances at Draco.
The blonde at the same time sat with his mind running over the way his long thin fingers had run through Harry's wild dark locks, and how much soft and pleasant the they had felt. Though embarrassed by the way they had moaned into each other mouths Draco didn't let it show on his face, and smirked good naturedly as he noticed the blush creeping over Harry's cheeks.
It was growing dark and the soft spring sun was setting as a cool breeze washed over them, making the boys shiver. Their palms still warm from the others hand, it was getting close to dinner time.
"Well…" "So…." Harry and Draco had begun to speak at the same time.
"Oh sorry!" "Oh dear…"
"Erm…" "I mean…."
They continued to speak in synch, their words overlapping and becoming rather jumbled. Harry's already nearly crimson blush deepening to a glowing hot pink, as Draco's frustration became noticeable in the tense set of his jaw.
A pause.
"It's getting dark, Potter. Are you ready to go back to the castle and have dinner?" Draco finally got out.
A small smile of relief was on Harry's lips as he nodded. "Yeah, I'm sort of hungry."
Harry and Draco climbed to their feet dropping the others hand, and brushed themselves off before wandering across the grounds, treading on still wet grass and carefully avoiding wide grassy puddles.
As they got closer to the mist shrouded Hogwarts the sun was growing thick and soupy on the horizon and framing the forest as the dark clouds continued to stir overhead. It was then that Draco's hand brushed over Harry's as he took it to hold, wrapping his slim fingers around the other boys. His feet stopped walking, and Harry stopped then too, they looked at each other, the sun was bathing them in pink and making it seem as though they glowed.
Harry shyly broke the gaze and looked down at the ground studying his shoes, he noticed a flower, its soft petals still wet from the rain, almost like tiny crystal balls set on each petal.
Without another thought Harry bent over and snapping the thin stem cleanly, picking the flower, he presented it shyly to Draco. A silent "I love you". A rare, soft smile found its way to Draco's face as he took the flower from Harry.
With a gentle kiss, Draco whispered back, "I love you, too."
Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy continued on their way to dinner, holding hands tightly with hearts as light as the soft mist hanging around the castle.
Fin.
