Am I beautiful?
So beautiful to you?
Does my skin glow perfect?
Does my hair shine?
Do my eyes sparkle?
Is my smile divine?
Youth has fleeting moments
Painted lips kissed away
The stale air of lingered love
Evening suns to day
And suddenly not so young
Having places to be
Last of innocence, gone
Woeful adults are we
Can't be helped, we grow
Years making us older
No one left to care
Beauty doesn't matter
Now my skin wrinkles
My hair not so fine
But my eyes still sparkle
My smile nonetheless divine
Time is passing
Lives prolong with age
I'm eternally grateful
Your spirit doesn't change
We're both old
Your sight has been due
But I'm still beautiful
