Slides passed through the TV screen slowly, the music slowly ebbing at my need to stay awake.
Suddenly, a figure slipped through our door with a sliver gun.
" Freeze!" Everyone froze on the spot, and every person stared at the ski masked intruder. It was obviously a man, with thick muscles and a gruff voice no female could imitate.
I happened to be at the front of the classroom at the chalkboard, writing the assignment while listening to a droning voice.
Slowly the black mask turned to me, then Brandon, Matt, and lastly Rachel.
"You four," he pointed at each of us," Your connections are stronger than anyone else's. Stand up!" He was barking at us, scaring the absolute crap out of me.
Slowly, they stood up, while I remained in my place, unsure of what to do. Then the intruder motioned with the gun for them to stand up at the blackboard by me.
"You four are coming with me. Anyone who even moves has a bullet through the head. WALK!"
I shrunk back toward where Rachel was, behind me, then followed her anxiously. Her skin was sweating, hair up on ends while visibly shaking in absolute terror.
Matt took Rachel's hand and whispered a soft word, too fast to be comforting. Brandon led the front of the line of hostages out of school, a gun pointed at us at all times.
Ms. Price walked into the hallway, then saw the gun, then us. A sharp bang echoed off the walls while the body that once housed a soul fell limp. I couldn't see her breathing.
We took the side door out, and walked around the rectangular school to the parking lot. Once dreary colors seemed oddly inviting as our trek to a dark colored van continued annoyingly slow, like a funeral march.
The taste of snow met my shivering lips as flakes dropped joyfully, carelessly down to the slushy ground.
" Vmmmm" The van's engine began with a roar as someone already inside had groaned the engine to life.
Our captor opened the back door of the van, and shoved us in.

Umm, just so you know...
The chapters are short, like this.
And I'm not posting another chapter until 5 people say it was cool.
This was a story I wrote in sixth grade, I have the other chapters as well, but I might add too.
This is from the perspective of 4 Elementary School sixth graders. That rock.
