Sorry readers. For awhile all u will see out of me is short one shots like this. I just can't focus on longer things right now. But I will as soon as summer comes along. So for now enjoy one of the three kingdom hearts one shots I'll be putting up here. Also a Sonic the hedgehog one will be up as soon as I finish it. For now, enjoy.

I Knew I Loved You

"You did great."

I say sweetly to your unconscious form.

I'm trying to hide that I'm really crying.

I know you can't hear me

because you no longer here.

I look at the pink bundle cradled in my left arm.

She's an angry pink but I can tell she's all you.

Same light toned skin, blond unruly hair, that adorable smile and all your facial features.

But as she opens her eyes for the first time, I finally see a little bit of me.

Wide, neon emerald orbs regard me curiously but their not my slit cat pupils.

So all I gave her is my eye color and a x.

finally, the doctors seem to notice that there's something wrong with you.

They push me out with our daughter.

I know though, that they're too late.

As the monotone flat line spills into the hall, our pretty, green eyed blondie cries, probably for the mother she'll never know.

I don't know what to do as she wails.

Finally, an idea pops into my head.

I raise her to face me and blurt out a name.

"Namine."

She quiets instantly and I lower her back into my arms and nuzzle her nose.

She giggles as I'm led by a nurse from the room of death to the nursery.

When she is taken out of my hands to be checked over,

it finally sets in that you're dead.

I fall down in tears, caught somehow by the nurse who led me there.

She leads me to a chair and sits me down.

I stare at the warm and caring brown eyes as I notice her look was very motherly, which was only enhanced by her brown hair that went well past her back, ending in a dolphin tail.

"Are you okay? My name's Tifa and I'm here to help, if you need it."

she had a smile that chased away all my fears.

"I'm not fine right now, but I will be. My name is Axel. Thank you." I smiled for the first time that day.

For the next half hour, we talk about everything: relationships (she had an on-again/off-again boyfriend), kids(she watched a boy named Denzel and a girl named Marlene) and everything else.

Finally when they brought Namine back out, I stood up, thanked Tifa for the conversation and allowed her to guide me, with Namine in my arms, to the front.

Stepping through the sliding door, I could hear Tifa shout "good luck."

I smiled.

I would need it.
