Sokka had been down all this week, and Toph noticed. She noticed when he wasn't his goofy and hungry self. Now, Toph was not good and making others feel better, making them feel pain, yes, but not no not comforting them. But this was her best friend, and she really cared about him. She even kind of liked him liked him but of course she would never tell anyone that! It would ruin her reputation! Toph Beifong, greatest earthbender in the entire world! Toph sighed. "How do I talk to him, I don't know what to say, what if he just ignores me? No matter I won't let him!" Toph laughed. She started walking around the house the Gaang had been given to by the Zuko now Firelord. "Where is that meathead?" she stated. Sighing Toph went to the back and sure enough she felt he was there sitting on a bench. Sokka was looking up at the sky when Toph came and sat by him. "Oh, hey Toph." Sokka said sadly. He looked at the ground. "Whats up with you? Sokka you haven't been yourself lately and quite frankly its putting me down!" He turned his head away from her. Maybe I should try being…nicer? Toph thought. "I'm sorry, but I'm kind of worried about you, please talk to me." She said looking up to him. He sighed and faced Toph. "Well Sukki and I haven't been getting along so good lately." Sokka replied. Oh great! I have to hear some sad relationship sob story from the person I like, what did I get myself into? Toph thought. There was silence for a minute. Sokka looked down at toph and wondered what she was thinking. She looked really pretty with the sun hitting her at like that."Try not to worry about it. If you guys are meant to be it will work out. If not the right person will come along eventually." She was right. Sokka sighed. " I guess you know what you're talking about. Maybe Sukki and I should take a break, so we can see what we really want." Sokka said with a hopeful smile. Toph could tell he was smiling, and she wasn't sure why and began to blush. "Ow!" Sokka said after Toph hit him. "What did you do that for?" Sokka yelled while rubbing his arm. "You should know by now that's how I show affection!" Toph said smiling. "Now come on lets go eat something I hear there's a new meat restaurant in town!" she shouted. Sokka laughed " I do love my meat!" He replied. They started walking side by side and all Sokka could think was that was how it should always be.
