Magnus stirred the chocolate powder into the two mugs of coca and threw in some marshmallows and whipped cream because as far as he was concerned it wasn't coca without whipped cream and marshmallows, and, because he's Magnus, he snapped his fingers to magic the toppings to cover them in rainbow glitter. Usually Magnus would just snap his fingers and the warm drink would just appear for him but he knew Alec liked the sentiment of it when he made it himself, even though he'd never admit it. He also knew Alec hated the glitter, which he never failed to voice. But it wasn't that he truly hated it, more like when the girl kisses the douchy guy in a book and you know you are supposed to hate it because he is a total dick but really you're trying to hide your guilty Cheshire cat grin.
Magnus carried the two mugs of the chocolate drink over the living room while Alec was in the bedroom getting a blanket for them. The two had decided to take a day of and enjoy the almost Christmas, white winter feeling that was in the air and just cuddle on the couch for the day. And Magnus, he couldn't ask for anything better if he spent his whole life trying, which being said is a very long time.
Just as Magnus set the glittery coca on the coffee table and was about to sit on the coach Alec walked out of the bedroom wearing black sweatpants and, both to Magnus's great delight, no shirt and the fuzzy rainbow socks Magnus had bought him because he said that he needed a little more color, and because "who the hell doesn't like fuzzy socks?" He also had a blanket draped dramatically around his shoulders, "look Magnus" he said in a mockingly seductive voice "I'm FABULOUS!" he exclaimed in his most stereotypical gay voice. Magnus burst out laughing as he smiled at the shadowhunter pretending to do the cat walk with his new blanket fashion.
"You're a mini-me!" Magnus laughed and caught his boyfriend in his embrace.
"I love you my fabulous Alexander" Magnus said, looking into Alec's unbelievable blue eyes.
"I love you, my extra-fabulous Warlock" Alec promised, wrapping the blanket around to both of them as Magnus pulled him closer, both of them still smiling as they stood there enjoying the feeling of just being together.
