Running away, getting nowhere

Summary: Pre series – Sam is a volatile teenager and frequently clashes with their father. Dean gets caught in the middle of a sparring session gone wrong, trying to keep the peace. Sequel to last week's Piggy in the Middle.
"Let me see that," Dad tugged at his arm but Dean pulled away. He'd had enough, just wanted to get out of there so he could breathe. Sam's wretched hang-dog expression, Dad's angry frown – the two combined were just too much. Keeping one hand pressed tightly against the gash in his stomach, he grabbed the Impala's keys with the other and almost ran outside.
Driving one-handed, dizziness from blood-loss stopped him eventually. He didn't know where he was, didn't care. He switched off Baby's engine and closed his eyes.
He ought to check the wound, it probably needed stitches.
