I love Theodore and his Teddy, so I just had to write a story about it because it's so cute *hearts*
It was a dark night and lightning streaked the sky, closely followed by loud claps of thunder. Rain poured down on the roofs of houses. Stray kittens and other animals dashed for covers.
Inside the Seville house, three brothers were crowding together.
"Uh huh... No problem, Dave," the middle brother, Simon, told Dave over the phone. The other boys, Alvin and Theodore, followed him closely. Alvin was trying to hear what Dave was saying, getting on Simon's nerves quickly, and Theodore clung to Alvin's sweatshirt. "Alright, bye," Simon then hangs up the phone.
"What did he say?" Alvin asks.
"He said he'll be stuck at the grocery store until the storm passes," Simon informs.
"B-but who knows when that will be?" Theodore asks, still clinging to his oldest brother's red sweatshirt. Simon looks down at Theodore.
"I don't know. I guess we'll just have to go one night by ourselves,"
"B-b-by ourselves? During this storm?"
"Well, it's not that bad," Alvin claims confidently. Right after he says that, a loud clap of thunder fills their ears, causing all three of them to jump together in a group hug. Alvin then realizes this and steps back.
"You were saying?" Simon asks smugly. Alvin just gives a sheepish grin.
That night, after the boys had gotten ready for bed, Theodore buries his nose under his covers. He then reaches under his pillow and reaches around for something. His hand eventually lands on what he was looking for and he pulls it out. He looks down at the object in his hands before clutching it to his chest.
His Teddy.
Theodore had had this teddy bear for as long as he could remember, and he would never part with it.
Teddy had gone through so much with Theodore, and had helped him along the way.
No matter how many people told him he was too old for a stuffed bear, Theodore would never part with Teddy.
Theodore remembered the time he had lost Teddy at the Majestic Movie Studios theme park. He had been so worried about Teddy, but later that same night, Frankie had come all the way over just to return him to Theodore. Frankie was a monster that a doctor created, but that was a whole other story.
Theodore remembered when Alvin had sold Teddy to a girl just to make some money for a Trans-Go-Go-Bot. Of course Dave had made Alvin buy it back, but Theodore had still worried about Teddy while he was gone.
Teddy was a part of Theodore, and that will never change. Dave told him if people can't accept that about him, then it's their loss.
Teddy helped Theodore through all the nightmares and thunder storms. Anytime Theodore needed something to cling to, Teddy was his first resort.
I wanted to find a different way to end that, but whatever. I still enjoyed writing this c:
