I'm back! Now I have a story about a book series I read. The series is

"I wonder where Milla is." A tall young man with brown (A/N is that his hair color?) hair thought
"You're thinking about her again aren't you, Tal." The crone Malen stated.
"Yes. She has been gone longer than she said she would." Tal replied.
"Settling disputes between the Icecarl clans has taken longer than was anticipated, but she should be balk soon." Malen said in a reassuring voice. "You should go back in the castle or you'll catch a cold."
"I think I'll stay out here for a while longer." Tal responded drawing more warmth from the Violet Keystone set in a ring on his right index finger.
Malen opened her mouth to give a ready retort but before she could, the horns that told of someone's arrival sounded. They both turned toward the bottom of the mountain to watch the visitors climb.
