Cazic-Thule, the dungeon of the insane
Author's
Notes: Well, I played Everquest for a while so decided to write a fic about
it. If anyone who is reading this
hasn't played EQ, it's an online RPG in which I played a Gnome Magician. BTW if you did, this is Blinkin Serilis
speaking! Anyways I have no idea what
this will be about so don't flame me! And as always, ENJOY!
Warning:
This is NOT true, if I used your EQ name don't bust out at me!
"WHAT?! What do you mean I have to go back to
Antonica for that rune! DAMNIT I thought it was here!" Screamed a very irate
Gnome in a blood red robe, the lengths of clothe all but flying in his little
temper tantrum! "I came all the way to Kunark for this rune and after 5 deaths
for it, you're saying It's In Cazic?! DAMNIT I've heard horror stories about
that place!"
"Sorry bud it's true" The much
calmer much less outrageous man was an elf, a tall Wood Elf to be precise. His name was Telkandore, a good friend of
Blinkin's from his guild, Sanctuary of Norrath. (Tribunal Server). He was
a good looking Elf, about 6' 9", with dark chestnut brown hair flowing easily
in the wind, his brown eyes the picture of peace and balance of nature, and his
clothes. A light brown chestplate from
a large aracnid in Sol-B. He also wore
several pieces of rather pricy jewelry,
all of which to inhance his Wisdom to increase his bond with Nature.
"Listen if ya want, I was heading that way, want me ta' teleport ya there,
maybe even hunt with ya a little?"
The Gnome sat rather irritably on the ground, just about
ready to start throwing flame bolts at this damn continent! He had journeyed so far, died so many times
and suffered so much and for squat! "Yeah sure bud, that'd be kewl. But can we hit Freeport first? I'm out of
food and need to meet….a friend…there"
The Gnome was quite hungry, as he had been flinging invis spells all day
to warrior and clerics and hadn't had a bite to eat.
"Heh sure, a 'friend', don't worry
man, I know it's that guy you're after"
Telkandore chuckled at the short Gnome as he blushed profusely. Blinkin
wasn't ashamed of being bi, but he didn't feel a bit embarrassed it was such
common knowledge, but back to the story.
"But anyways, let me mem it and we'll be off." With that the Druid sat indian style and closed his eyes, a bok
appearing before him as if on the back
of his eyelids. On the outside the tall
hotty of an elf began to float above the grouns slighty, a minor greenish brown
aura surrounding him as he took into memory the power to teleport a group of
people across the sea to a place called West Commons. "Done" he said as he rose
and got near to the Gnome, who was by now standing quite impatiently waiting
to leave.
"Good to go." The phrase was a simple one but meant so
much, when uttered it could launch a major attack on defenseless gnoll
babies. Preparedness to be magically
whisked across the worl. Or even the
readiness to be returned to life with former memory and experiences, and it was
enough. The tall Wood Elf began
muttering chants as a bright sphere formed around him and after a few moments
both he and Blinkin were whisked away through time and space, to be placed
again in the middle of a large stone ring in the middle of a large hill-land.
