"Good morning bastard. This is your daily reminder of your assholic status and the fact that you have to finish your work before coming over. Over and out!"
"Idiot."
The baritone drone infused with irritation and amusement in equal parts broke the comfortable silence left by the mischievous voice several tones lighter than his own. Pale fingers that reminded one distinctly of vampires removed itself from the depths of silk pants in moonless black and glided towards the glaringly orange contraption, disconnecting the recorder from the minute loud speaker attached to it.
Drawing the accursed object into the palm of his hand, where it settled nicely, the raven man retreated from the room, locking the plain wood behind him before he proceeded towards his next destination. As the plate etched into the door escaped from the holds of the raven's shadow, the name 'Sasuke Uchiha' flashed out in simple silver.
Taking the path branded into his memory, Sasuke stopped in front of an another piece of oaken barrier, its minute design similar to his own with the exception of a singular detail, the name written in silver and elegant loops.
Rapping his fist against the wood once, twice, in quick succession, he was rewarded with the sight of honey tan skin stretched across a friendly, 'whiskered' face and cobalt sparkling with what could only be named as mischief in its swimming pool depths.
"Moron," acknowledging the inhabitant with a single word, Sasuke held out the remains of his daily 'gift', which he had habitually crushed on his way over, and shoved the laughing blond inside.
"Bastard!" Was the answering call.
When the door slid shut, 'Naruto Uzumaki' shone from it's polished name plate.
