I look into the mirror and see
Someone who looks just like me,
A boy stands beside me and sighs
His love is seen through his bright eyes,
The same brown orbs and long black hair
And yet this is where I despair,
He sees not me, another girl
Who is so perfect in his world,
And try as I might I cannot be
The girl that he would like to see,
I stay by his side throughout the day
And I comfort him in my own way,
But sometimes I wish to the stars above
That he would give me his love,
But instead his heart will never be mine
It's with my reflection for all of time
