Naruto and Hinata had met each other when they were kids.
He had forgotten. (She never gave her name to him)
She remembered. (She had known about him from the Main house)
Yet, the blonde had recalled that he had made a friend a long time ago. Boy or girl, he couldn't remember, but he did give them a small present.
Hinata wanted him to remember, so she summonded her courage and asked for him to meet her. The boy questioned her. She answered by giving him a fox shaped pendent.
He blinks and eyes widen with recognization. She smiles and he smiles back, tears welling up at the corner of his eyes. He hugs the girl and she returns it.
Naruto had finally found his long lost friend.
