Kickstart My Heart played on the radio as America drove to the beach. Even though he was always open to any kind of music, this particular sound always got his blood pumping. It was that type of inspirational music that just got you so intense, it made you feel at ease for some reason, so excited because of the feeling, and so happy that nobody would quite understand why you were so content. America always felt like that. He had to do it. With hopes of enjoying the song, he raised the volume all the way without a care in the world. Hell, the cops could come driving by and he would disregard their presence. He was the United fucking States of America! He owned their asses.

He liked changing the lyrics to the song because he sometimes found ways to make his own lyrics fitting.

I'm the hero
They're the zeroes
Show 'em up
With all my plans...

He smirked mischievously as the singer went on to sing about kicking ass. Even if he was sometimes silly about it, he had to smile. But nothing mattered when he felt like that. The future could come and go, and wars may go on, but until he would depart from that beach, his mind would rid itself of any worries. Times like these, he just felt so relieved to so free.

I rewrote the lyrics to the bridge, but I imagined America just getting a kick out of this one. He's just a wild boy sometimes. :) R/R, plz! Support is love!
