All Along

Mia x Kakashi

"See you all tomorrow!" Naruto shouted as he ran home.

"Bye!" Sakura said as she walked away.

"Goodbye." Sai said in his own way. And Sasuke just scoffed and walked away.

"Well Kakashi. You have done an excellent job at being their sensei." Mia said to Kakashi.

Kakashi smiled behind his mask. "Thanks. I'm sure one day you'll do the same thing." He said to Mia.

Mia laughed. "Yeah right. Me a teacher? Come on! Kakashi. If I wanted to be one then I would have stayed. And I would be at the school. Not the same thing you do." Mia said.

Kakashi again smiled. "You'd still be great. You we're always the best student in school while I became the best ninja." He boasted.

Mia frowned. "Obito would have loved to be here. He would be more like you and Guy. Trying to be the better ninja. Rin and I would be working here inside the village. Worrying about you guys till you both came back home safely." Mia said.

Kakashi walked Mia home to her little house in the old Uchiha clan area.

"Thanks for treating Sasuke, Sakura and Sai." Mia said to him.

"Thanks for paying for Naruto's." He added.

"Well, he does eat a lot and one of us has way more money then we can use for ourselves." Mia said. "Goodnight, Kakashi." She closed the door.

"Night." Kakashi says as he walks away.

Sasuke and Naruto stood and watched Kakashi leaving Mia's house.

"There's got to be something we can do." Naruto says.

"Like what? And what the hell am I doing here?" Sasuke asks.

"We have got to get them together!" Naruto shouted a little too loudly.

Mia looked out her window to see who was out there and the look on her face she was mad.

"Naruto! I know your out there! I heard you!" Mia shouted.

Naruto was silent for a few minutes.

Sasuke came out of the shadows which shook Mia up bad.

"Sasuke?!" She sounded surprised. "Sorry. I thought you were Naruto." Mia said. She let Sasuke in as she fixed a pot of tea.

"What brings you here at this time of night?" Mia asks.

Naruto was near the window listening in on the conversation.

"I just want to know something." Sasuke asked. "What was it like to be with your brother, and also...have a crush on Kakashi?"

Mia was stunned by the question. But with a sigh she was gladly enough to tell him a small story.

"This was just a small team at first. I had been the first to graduate the academy at such a young age. I didn't have a team until later.

But when it came to Kakashi and Obito and Rin...my life was perfect.

Rin was like my best friend. Her and I would just talk and talk about the other teams and who would we trade to get that other teammate.

Obito and Kakashi were always in some contest. At least in their minds.

Rin always talked about Kakashi while I talked about Obito.

Obito and I were so close other families wondered just how two siblings got along super well.

And Kakashi... I guess things just started off at the beginning of the year.

I was still new and had trouble remembering things. So one day when I had to re take a test... Kakashi volunteered to help me study. He became like a hero to me. A big brother figure I thought at first.

But then one day, We were forced to battle as a test run. And I had him pinned down. But I couldn't do it. I broke down crying. Saying how much help he's been that I didn't want to kill him.

The Hokage heard and met with me about privet lessons. Which lead to me seeing everything in a new light. And Kakashi.

Things were simple. I joined the team of my brother, Rin and Kakashi as an observer. A reporter to the Hokage about how the teams were doing.

As we all went on missions I fell harder and harder. But so did Rin. I realized just how much she loved him. Same with Obito. He loved Rin and wanted to do what he could to impress her.

But I do wish I was there. When he died. I lost everything. My own...fire...had been burning less and less and that lead me to leaving. Only Kakashi knew where I was going.

Then after that everything fell apart. But the only reason I still come back to this place...my home...Is because...I still love him. Even though I know he'll never fall for any normal girl. or any girl for that matter with those books of his." Mia had said so much Sasuke was impressed.

"You remind me of Sakura." He said.

Mia smiled. "No. Sakura reminds me of Rin. She beat Obito up a few times too. Just like Naruto. You are a lot like Kakashi. The lone wolf who will do everything himself. And Obito... Naruto and him are vary much the same. Wanting to get stronger to be the best ninja in the whole village." Mia said.

Sasuke smiled. "You should tell him." He said as he stood up and headed for the door.

"Tell him. If Sakura made me change my mind...Then maybe you can change his." He said. Sasuke left the house and Naruto snuk away from the window.

"Got what you wanted?" Sasuke asked Naruto.

Naruto grinned. "Yup!"
