Miley's POV
Today was just like any other day or so I thought. My best friend Lilly and I were walking to school and talking about the latest Hannah thing. When we reached the school we found a huge crowd of people. Lilly spotted Oliver our other friend and pulled him over.
"Hey Oliver, what's going on over there?" Lilly said.
"Didn't you guys hear? Jake Ryan is going to our school now and he's over there signing autographs," he replied.
"Oh my gosh. Jake Ryan. I LOVE him," Lilly said.
"Why, I mean I know he's cute and all, but he's probably just one of those stuck up celebrities," I said.
"WHAT," Lilly and Oliver shouted together. "How can you think that? How many celebrities have you met?" Lilly said.
"Lilly think about what you just said," I said.
"Why…. Oh, yeah I forgot you were a celebrity too. Oops," Lilly said.
I nodded my head and started walking towards the school. I looked back at the crowd and just shook my head and walked in. Lilly and Oliver walked up to me at our lockers and all they could talk about was Jake Ryan. I got all of my books out of my lockers and quickly walked to homeroom.
"What's up with her?" Oliver asked.
I took my seat in homeroom and a minute later Lilly took her seat, which was right next to mine. Still the only thing that came out of her mouth was how cute, or great, or funny Jake Ryan was. Five minutes later Jake Ryan walked into our homeroom. Why does his last name have to be Ryan? Why can't it start with like an A or something because then he wouldn't be in my homeroom? Stupid alphabetical system.
"Yo Mr. C, do you mind if I make a little speech real quick?" Jake said.
"No, go right ahead," Mr. Corelli, replied. Great he's going to talk. That's the last thing I wanted him to do.
"I know I'm a celebrity and all, but when I'm here I wanted to be treated like a regular student just like all of you. So when you see me you can ask for an autograph, but just don't like scream it."
"Can you do your line?" Amber asked.
"Yeah please," Ashley said.
"Ok, ok. 'Dude I slayed you once, don't make me slay you again.'"
With that all the kids just like melted in their seats except me. I just sat there not caring at all that he was famous. Homeroom ended and everyone tried to walk out of the room at the same time, but that didn't work to well. Everyone just got stuck. I was lucky I got out before everyone else tried to.
Lilly walked up to me at our lockers and guess what she finally stopped talking about Jake Ryan. Not just kidding with you, she still couldn't stop talking about him. "I was walking in the hallway and he's like sup Lilly? I just like almost melted on the spot." The truth is I didn't care about this so I pretty much kept my head in my locker the whole time Lilly was talking.
"Are you listening to me Miley?" Lilly said as she pulled my head out of my locker.
"Yeah of course I'm listening to you. Why wouldn't I be? I just love listening to you talk about Jake Ryan," I said sarcastically and walked to my first class. Lilly came in and tried to talk to me, but I wouldn't listen. I just sat there ignoring her for like the first time since I moved here.
"Fine I see you don't want to talk to me. I'll just leave you alone."
"Ok"
"I'm walking to my desk."
"Ok."
"Almost there."
"Lilly, I'll tell you about it later," I said. I could never be mad at her after she does that.
"Thanks," she said sitting down in her seat, which is the one just behind me. Boy can she walk slow. Just then, guess who walks in the door…………………………..yup you guessed it Jake Ryan.
