Play-Spyro's First Day At School



Characters:

Spyro- a playful little dragon who is full of energy

Sparx- Spyro's best friend

Darla- Spyro's girlfriend

Niles- Spyro's father

Miss Parker- Spyro's teacher

Hunter- a nervous cheetah



Scene 1- Dragon Worlds

Spyro: I can't wait until I get to school. I'm going to see my best friends and they are going to be so happy to see me!

Sparx: Too bad for me. I have to stay home until you come back.

Spyro: (surprised) Why is that Sparx? How about you come with me?

Sparx: You have to ask Niles.

Spyro: Don't worry I will.

Spyro: Daddy, can Sparx come to school with me?

Niles: Sure. As long as he behaves.

Sparx: Thank you so much!

Scene 2- At The Schoolyard

Darla: Hi Spyro. How are you this morning?

Spyro: Hi Darla. I'm fine. How about you?

Darla: I'm good.

Hunter: I'm really scared.

Spyro: Hi Hunter!

Hunter: Hi Spyro. Are you a little nervous?

Darla: Spyro??? Don't be silly.

Spyro: No. I'm not scared at all Hunter.

Parker: Class, come inside.

Scene 3- In the school

Parker: Today is Show and Tell. Spyro you go first.

Spyro: This is Sparx. He is my best friend. He comes with me everywhere. We go on adventures together.

Parker: Thanks Spyro. Darla you next.

Darla: I have nothing to tell Miss Parker

Parker: How about you Hunter?

Hunter: NO!

Parker: Okay. Class dismissed.

Scene 4-Home Time

Spyro: Darla would you like to come over and have a sleep-over.

Darla: I would love to. How about you Hunter?

Hunter: Sure.
